Maso takes its name from Maso Toresella, a magnificent lakeside villa built in the sixteenth century by the Prince Bishops of Trento and surrounded by over 6.5 hectares of vineyards near Lake Toblino, one of the most delightful areas in Northern Italy. 

Maso wines are produced together with ‘San Michele all’Adige Oenological Institute’ (Edmund Mach Foundation). They only offer four wines produced with high quality standards that deliver the best expression of the area. These age worthy wines are crus in their own right and have a limited production of between 6,000 and 12,000 bottles per year.
